Branding work for the Shxw’ōwhámél Sto:lo First Nation Band in British Columbia. The key to the rebrand was to maintain their history tied to the river, fish, and traditional ancestral motifs, yet transition the current brand to be trusting, valued, vibrant, optimistic, and empowering. The result is an innovative, clean, modern design that is bold, intelligent, proud, welcoming, and optimistic. A brand identity that will transition the band and other indigenous people from a complex negative past to one that is stronger and more confident.
